Scientific interests

Cell cycle regulation, cell death regulation. Cytotoxicity ant its molecular pathways, role of the tumor suppressor p53 and the antioxidant system.

Antitumor compounds, cytotoxicity (structure-activity relations), cellular pathways and molecular mechanisms of cytotoxicity.

Nuclear architecture. Chromatin structure and the nuclear matrix. Role of chromatin in transcription regulation.
